How We Started

Brilliant Forest began in 2015 when our founder, frustrated by her own renovation experience, decided there had to be a better way. Too many homeowners were getting burned by contractors who overpromised and underdelivered.

What started as a single kitchen renovation in Bondi has grown into a full-service design and renovation practice serving clients across Sydney and beyond. But our core philosophy hasn't changed: transparent pricing, realistic timelines, and quality that lasts.

We believe your home should work for you, not against you. Every project we take on starts with understanding how you actually live in your space. Do you cook? Entertain? Work from home? Have kids? Pets? These details matter.

Design trends come and go, but good design is timeless. We focus on creating spaces that feel right today and will continue to feel right years from now. That means honest materials, thoughtful details, and functionality that doesn't sacrifice aesthetics.

Our Team

We're a team of licensed builders, interior designers, and project coordinators who genuinely care about the outcome of every project. Everyone on our team has at least five years of experience, and we're selective about who we work with.

We don't use subcontractors we haven't personally vetted. Every tradesperson who works on your project is someone we trust and have worked with multiple times. This consistency shows in the quality of the finished work.

How We're Different

Most renovation companies will give you a vague quote that balloons once work begins. We provide fixed-price quotes after a thorough site assessment. If we've quoted it, that's what you'll pay unless you request changes.

We also believe in communication. You'll receive weekly photo updates showing progress, and you'll have a direct line to your project manager. No wondering what's happening or when things will be finished.

Our Guarantee

Every project comes with a 12-month workmanship guarantee. If something isn't right, we'll fix it. We also provide a detailed handover document with care instructions, warranty information for products used, and contact details for any ongoing maintenance questions.
